More about the American Elm

American Elm is one of the first tress to come into flower in the spring. It once lined America’s streets but many disappeared because of Dutch Elm disease. It is seen in open fields and open woodlots. Most die before they reach 40 feet but some can reach 60 to 80 feet tall.
